4 Of The Best Running Apps To keep You Fit

4 of the best running apps to keep you fit

We’re probably one of many, but since the pandemic hit the UK, we decided to take up running. We stopped using our gym before they were shut and we weren’t sure what to do for exercise.

And for some very bizarre reason we opted for running. It’s bizarre because we have hated and avoided running for 34 years. We were the girls who had to run around Hampden park pond for P.E lessons and we were the girls who disappeared for that hour. Turns out it’s actually not that bad and here are 4 apps to help you on your running way

Couch to 5k
This is such a good app for beginners like us. You start off super easy. We’re currently at the end of week 2 – which has us walk for 5 mins, run for 90sec, walk for 2 mins repeat the run and walk 5 times, then end with another 5 minute walk. It’s getting easier and we’re looking forward to week 3.
Download the app here.

Peloton
The one that all the Americans are RAVING about right now. Peletos is a personal trainer in your home. They also have a running section. Your runs will be brought to you by your very own personal trainer in your ear. They will track your run, provides some much needed motivation and better yet – it’s free for 90 days right now.
You can download the app here.

Nike+ Run Club
Track your progress, set some goals and monitor them. You can also tune into guided runs to help you if you like to run that way.
You can download the app here.

Strava
You can track all of your runs and of you use the upgraded version you can also compete for the best 30 minute run time or see what your friends are running and if you have a better score than what they do. So if you’re competitive this will be a great one for you.
You can download the app here.
