7 Things To Avoid The Week Before Your Wedding

9 things to avoid the week before your wedding at all costs
So you’ve got your planned, everything is sorted, the hen do hangover has evaporated, and now you’re on your 7 day count down. To keep it as stress free as possible and to make sure that you are looking your best on your big day, here are 7 things to avoid like the plague on the last few days of being a single lady.

1. Spray tans – you should have already had a spray tan trial, to see how it fades and what your perfect wedding day colour will be. They say get your tan between day 4-7, but preferably 7, so that you are nice healthy glow.

2. Getting a new haircut/ colour – you’ve already had your wedding make up and hair trials, so yo don’t want to go for a change in appearance this close to the wedding day. You will change the tone of your skin and will have to sort out a new hair do. You don’t need that kind of stress.

3. Avoid binge drinking at all costs – it will leave you bloated and you skin will be dull. A champagne every night is on the other hand completely acceptable.

4. Crash dieting – most brides loose weight n the lead up to the wedding due to the stress of it all – Will I fit into my dress? Will I look good in the pictures? etc, etc … You’ve already had your last dress fitting, so try and keep to the same schedule as before to avoid a drastic weight loss.

5. No Microdermabrasion sessions in the last week – it’s too late to get the perfect skin and you don’t want your skin peeling off on the actual day do you? Just drink water!

6. All nighters getting all your wedding bits finished – are a no go – you need to be well rested and happy.

7. New skincare products can benefit in the long term but not in the short. You could get a skin reaction, a break out of spots and a week isn’t long enough to sort this out.
