Kids Invited to Join Free Craft Event in Eastbourne Metro Bank

From Monday 15th – Sunday 21st August, the UK’s community bank, Metro Bank, will host a complimentary back to school craft activity and the whole community is invited to join in the fun. This is a great chance for parents and guardians to relax whilst the kids entertain themselves with a colouring activity and fun financial education exercise.

The Eastbourne Metro Bank store will host the craft event throughout the week – kids are welcome to drop into the store or pick up a take away craft bag. In addition to decorating and gaining some financial knowledge, kids may also be able to take a selfie with Metro Man – the Bank’s striking mascot.

Metro Bank is known for its family-friendly approach to banking and prides itself on championing its local communities. Throughout the year, the bank has hosted a series of events ranging from business networking sessions to its free financial education workshops, Money Zone, delivered to over 250,000 schoolchildren.

“We’re always looking for ways to support our local community,” explains Ben Hemmings, Eastbourne Metro Bank’s Store Manager. “We know how long the summer holidays are and we are glad to be able to offer this free event for kids. Last year’s craft event was lots of fun and this year will be no different. You don’t have to be a customer to come in and enjoy the event – everyone is welcome.”

Metro Bank’s Eastbourne store is located at Unit 70/71, The Beacon, 59 Terminus Rd, Eastbourne BN21 3NW. The store is currently open Monday – Saturday 8.30am – 6pm. Sunday: 11am – 5pm.
