Review: Roast Dinner At Home Without The Washing Up

Review: Roast dinner at home without the washing up

The Fairway at Lottbridge Golf Club reopened for takeaway and delivery a couple of weeks a go, which we told you all about here.

But today I wanted to tell you about the roast dinner. I had the roast dinner take away yesterday (Sunday 24th). And wowee was it good. I didn’t expect a take away roast dinner to be that great. I don’t know why. But this was absolutely delicious. The portion size was MASSIVE as well, which is a roast dinner must. Even if I do have roast dinner regret afterwards.

The roast I went for was roasted crispy belly of pork. The roast dinner came with everything that you could possibly need. deep braised cider red cabbage, duck fat rosemary garlic and garlic maris pipers, chunky carrots and parsnips, cauliflower cheese, tarragon butternut squash puree, winter greens, muffin Yorkshire pudding and classically roasted real gravy. EVERYTHING included in this roast dinner tasted so good. I don’t know what they did to the cauliflower cheese – but it was the best i’ve ever tasted. The tarragon butternut squash puree so amazing and went really well with everything else on the plate. And the gravy – wow! The meat was also cooked to perfection. If I wasn’t so full after i’d finished this, I would have quite happily had a second. Honestly it was so good.

So this roast dinner comes highly recommended from Eastbourne Lifestyle.
