Roast Dinner Review At The 19th Hole Restaurant

Roast dinner review at The 19th Hole Restaurant

Just before lockdown we went for a fantastic roast dinner at The 19th Hole Restaurant (Willingdon Golf Club). We’ve waited until now to write up the review a. because of lockdown and b. it’s roast dinner season again. Yay!

Is there anything better than a roast dinner on a Sunday? Well yes there, a roast dinner that you don’t have to cook. Are we right?

So here we have our first review since March – yikes!

Anyways, it’s worth the wait we promise.

When we went to The 19th Hole restaurant it was in a world before covid, so we could serve ourselves, we expect that now, it will be brought to your table.

That won’t matter though – it’s all about the food and the food was incredible.

Just look at the pictures. The roast potatoes (most important component) were so crispy and cooked to perfection and they tasted absolutely amazing. The yorkies were lovely and big, the stuffing was so good and the cauliflower cheese was super tasty. Also the meat was fabulous. Your options are beef, turkey, gammon and for the veggies – vegetable wellington. We opted for the gammon and the turkey on the day as they are our faves. So good!

We of course has a pudding as well (sticky toffee pudding and apple and rhubarb crumble) and then rolled ourselves out of there.

100% recommended – great place to spend a Sunday.
