The Thai Brasserie: Eastbourne

Thai Brasserie 2
Do you know whats great about the Enterprise Shopping Centre? The Thai Brasserie. An accidental find, but probably the best ones yet. The Thai down the harbour is good, but this one is GREAT. You need to go, no in fact you MUST go and eat there. MUST! Let us help – you can book a table here. Seriously go and book.

The first reason we decided to visit was Thai Tapas, which if I remember correctly is the lunch time menu. It’s good, it’s cheap and there is vegetarian options for those who don’t like fish. When I say fish I mean prawns. We started off with Corn Bread, Thai Dumplings and Vegetable Spring Rolls (don’t like prawns), which are all available on the Tapas menu. All of the above were so amazingly yummy – we should have ordered double.

Next up we have mains. I have to say, next time, we need to be more adventurous, but there is nothing better than a Pad Thai. I had the Chicken Pad Thai, which was perfect and there was apparently a prawn lover at the table who had a Prawn Pad Thai. I’m assured that it was equally as perfect as the chicken, but I can’t guarantee that.

The pudding was certainly worth the wait and also the waist inches. The really ugly looking one is sticky rice, delicious and doesn’t even need the ice cream. However this frozen mango sorbet thing could not be beaten ever. It’s the BEST pudding and the most enjoyed pudding that I have ever eaten. I want one now!!!

You really need to get yourself down to the Thai Brasserie. The food is 100% spot on and the staff are so lovely and friendly. Go go go go.
