You Can Enjoy A Roast Dinner With A Sea View In This Lovely Seafront Hotel

You can enjoy a roast dinner with a sea view in this lovely seafront hotel

This will be the first of many roast dinner reviews throughout Winter as we get so many questions on social media about where we suggest to go on Sundays with families and big groups of people. So we have decided to share a few places each week. If you follow us on Facebook and Instagram you would have already seen where we have been over the last two weeks. And this brings us to our first review at The View Hotel in The Artisan Restaurant.

The Artisan Hotel has a carvery roast dinner with ALL THE TRIMMINGS. They don’y miss a single thing, which is what we love about it. When we went, there was three choices of meats – beef, turkey and pork. There was also a vegetarian option available to order. On that week it was a leek and mushroom tart. Which looked, smelled and tasted delicious. We couldn’t decide between meats, so the chef let us choose two to have. We kinda liked that – variety at it’s best.

Once you got your meats, you then moved on to the all important yorkshire puddings (which was perfectly fluffy FYI), stuffing (as much as you like) and then roast potatoes. These are super important to a roast and they can make or ruin a roast. They were cooked perfectly.

Next up was cauliflower cheese – soooooo good. It’s not a roast dinner without cauliflower cheese. Also parsnips, we love parsnips. And then all the vegetables that you could want to fill your plate up with. We had a bit of everything. We were also super happy about the leeks, which is a very random comment, but whatever they did to them was DELICIOUS. You could add as much gravy as you wanted which is also an absolute bonus. They also have all the sauces to choose from. We guess, depending on what roast you went for there was a sauce option. No matter what roast we have we always opt for the cranberry sauce – anyone else or is it just us?

There was no more room for pudding, but we couldn’t say no!!!!!!! Sticky toffee pudding and cheese cake is up there with our favourite dessert options. They had a whole trolley to choose from. So many options including cupcakes.

Everything was absolutely perfect about this carvery and we will definitely be coming back to The Artisan restaurant. Such great value for money as well. The carvery itself was only £12.95 and it says on the website that kids eat for free which is really great value for money. You can find out more information and book your roast dinner at The View Hotel this Sunday here.
