Tired, Puffy, Hungover – Fear Not You Just Need An Eye Patch

Tired, puffy, hungover – fear not you just need eye patches

We don’t know about you but we literally have the puffiest faces at the moment – it might be because the heat is ruining our duvet loving sleep, we might have had one too many vinos in the sunshine, or if you’re also unlucky like our editor – the heat makes you puffy or prosecco – it’s most probably the prosecco – but fear not we have the answer to save your eye bags.

Over the last couple of weeks we have become massive eye patch addicts – it’s in our morning routines – wake up, pop the kettle on, grab the eye patches from the fridge and marinade those eye bags, whilst sipping on some delicious coffee.

They really have made such a huge difference to the area. Obviously it depends on what type of eye patches you use because they focus on different things such a brightening, tightening or moisturising – we’ve tried them all at this point and we’ve loved every single one we’ve tried.

So here are the ones that we recommend, but are not limited to –

Simple
These eye patches are new to the market for Simple as far as we can tell – we grabbed some as they were on offer for just under £2 in Superdrug for one pair. We really liked these as they were a gel eye patch as appose to a material one and it was really soothing to put on in the morning.
The reviving under-eye hydrogel eye patches (buy here) help to reduce the appearance of dark circles and fine lines, leaving your skin plumped

We also picked up the Brightening under eye hydrogel mask (buy here). These ones help reduce the appearance of dark circles and fine lines. We can’t comment on the dark circles situation just yet, but the whole under eye looked way better.

Garnier
Garnier moisture bomb – loved this one (buy here) – it had a great cooling effect which helps with the puffiness and not to mention helping dehydrated look hydrated again. Amaze – these ones get a thumbs up from us for sure.

Garnier moisture bomb eye mask (buy here)- made us feel like batman – its a mask as appose to a patch and was fantastic after a night with the girls. Eyes felt instantly better and it is enriched with coconut water which is great for moisture and also hyaluronic acid which is the key to smooth flawless skin – win – win.

Pixie
We can’t find these ones in Boots online, but you can buy them from Cult Beauty and they are what we’re using this month. We’ve heard great reviews about them and they are only £22 for a pack of 30 pairs of eye patches. You can buy them here.
