We Went To Chi Last Week And This Is What We Ate

We were invited down to Chi last week to help them celebrate their one year anni in Eastbourne.

The evening involved eating ALOT of food, so that we were able to get an idea of what the restaurant had to offer.

We have been before, but we’ve not ventured further than a katsu curry and we were missing out. Have you ever tried a Korean burger before? It was new to us and we have to say that it may have been the BEST burger that we have ever eaten – and that is saying something because we’ve had a very large amount of them.

We also tried Korean beef tacos for the first time and they were stunning. In fact everything that we tried was amazing, but those 2 were the stand outs for us.

Next up vegetable and chicken gyozas – could have eaten way more of them – so good.

Prawn toast – the best we’ve ever had.

Crispy shrimp – loved it and the sauce that came with in on the side was top tier.

Chicken satay – always a firm favourite and not found one that we didn’t love.

Char Siu Pork was next on the agenda and it was so good. We couldn’t tell you exactly what it was, but it was worth a taste for sure. salt

Salt and pepper squid – if you love fish, you will love this one. Again, the sauce on the side was delicious.

Thai coconut curry – so so good. Defo recommend giving this a go, you won’t regret it.

Lastly we had the pistacio mochi and it was exactly as we expected.

It was such a lovely eve, where we got to try things on the menu that we wouldn’t normally order, but we definitely will on the next trip down.

Have you been yet? What did you eat?
