We Went To The Opening Day Of Karen’s Diner In Brighton To Get Shouted At

Have you heard about Karen’s Diner before?

You may have seen it on Tik Tok before – the staff are actors and they are there to be abusive to you whilst you dine – it is an immersive dining experience.

One opened up at Brighton marina on Saturday, so we made to sure to get booked in so that we could tell you all about it.

We were an hour late, so we were expecting to be in so much trouble, and we were, but nothing as bad as we thought.

We had a kiddo with us so the staff checked that we knew what the diner was all about and then asked the kid if they understood, would be ok with it and if they will cry – ha ha!

Saying that, we think that they were pretty tame with us compared to what we have seen on Tik Tok, but we were happy with that.

There was a lot of will you hurry up and get out, ripping up our drawings in front of us telling us they were rubbish. Told to get our food that was left on another table. When we asked questions, we were shouted at and told to hurry up. We were all made to wear hats with abuse on, again ours were pretty mild due to the kiddo, but other tables were absolutely hilarious.

There was A LOT of swearing, so you may want to take the kids in on one of the designated kid days that they have at Karen’s Diner, which has no swearing.

They have house rules to adhere to, which they will let you know about when you go – but one of those rules are no throwing food.

It was A LOT of fun and we may even brave it on a Saturday night.
